SS-31 (elamipretide) is a small aromatic-cationic tetrapeptide that localises to the inner mitochondrial membrane and stabilises cardiolipin. It is widely used in mitochondrial-bioenergetics and ischemia-reperfusion research. Supplied as lyophilized powder at ≥98% HPLC purity.
