PT-141 (bremelanotide) is a cyclic heptapeptide analogue of α-MSH with agonist activity at melanocortin MC3 and MC4 receptors. It is used in rodent models of central melanocortin-system function. Supplied as lyophilized powder at ≥98% HPLC purity.
